Hillhead 2018 proved to be another successful show with visitors enjoying the fantastic weather all week. CMI exhibited a range of portable equipment from their range with 2 asphalt plants, a concrete plant with auxiliary silo and an asphalt plant control center.

CMI unveiled their new and improved Magnum 275 Super Portable counterflow drum-mix, capable of up to 275 tph with 30% RAP and rapid site setup with minimal foundations and the E3-300 RAP-Star with a capacity of 300 tph and up to 50% RAP capability. Complementing both of the portable drum-mix plants, the mobile control center and management system houses the Impulse III plant control system and also contains a separate motor control room with independent climate control.

The self-erecting Rustler 12 portable concrete dry-mix plant also made it’s debut in Europe and made a big impression, together with its companion R1600 auxiliary cement / fly-ash silo, which also features self-erecting capability for rapid onsite setup. The Rustler 12 can produce up to 160 yd³ per hour and can be configured with numerous aggregate and cement storage options to suit most ready-mix operations.
